NHL Trades
So the trade deadline has passed and the Buffalo Sabres have dealt away defenseman Brian Campbell. He was traded with a 7th round draft pick to the San Jose Sharks for former first round draft pick Steve Bernier and a first round draft pick. Personally I think this was a pretty good deal. In my opinion Brian Campbell was an overrated player and not worth what he was asking for. Of course if he waits until free agency in July hes going to get whatever he wants because teams often scramble to get a good player before he gets taken off the market. It was a smart move for the Sabres to trade Brian Campbell because we would have most likely lost him for nothing. Any thoughths on this? Let me know.

Neck Guards in the NHL
After the terrible incident with Richard Zednik of the Florida Panthers the NHL is discussing making neck guards a mandatory part of equipment seeing as this is the second almost fatal incident in 17 years. I believe it is a good idea but that it should be up to the players on weather or not they want to wear one. What are your thoughts on this?
